PAYMENT
When you purchase from www.rex-cykler.dk you may choose to pay in several ways.
No cash on delivery (COD)
Shipping costs to Greenland are based on shipping by sea (17-20 days). For
shipments by air we will add a surcharge. For shipments to Greenland, a new
invoice excl. VAT will be sent to the customer and the prepaid VAT from the
online purchase will be credited.
Payment by bank wire transfer and credit card
If you wish to buy a product from us and pay by bank wire transfer, just follow
the instructions and dont forget to write your order number on the transfer
order form. Your order will be shipped once we have registered your payment.

Pick-up
You may choose to pick up your goods at our physical address:
Rex-Cykler, Bymosevej 9-11, 3200 Helsinge.
Opening hours: 10:00 to 17:30 on weekdays and 10:00-13:00
on Saturdays.
You can only pick up your goods after you have been notified by email
or telephone that they are ready for pick-up.
ORDERING
All items can be ordered online from our webstore at www.rex-cykler.dk, in
case you have any questions, dont hesitate to give us a call on tel. 4879 4999.
If you want to pick up your order at our address you may tick off this possibility
under delivery options. You will then receive an email with a message when your
order
is ready for pick-up.
You may move freely around in our online shop and at any time keep yourself
updated with what you have ordered by clicking the "checkout" button.
Once you have finished your order, you only have to fill in your name and address,
payment method etc.
Finally, when you hit the send order button, the order with all its information
will be sent electronically to www.rex-cykler.dk.
You will receive immediate confirmation that we have received the order.
It is not a confirmation of whether the goods are in stock. The order will be
shipped next day if all items are
In stock. In case we, against our expectations, cannot meet the specified delivery
date, you will be advised accordingly by email together with an indication of
the expected delivery date.
Partial Delivery
If a situation should occur that we are not able to deliver the entire order
within the normal time frame, you will, of course, be informed about this. As
a rule, we will choose to put the order on hold until we are able to ship the
entire order. This priority has been made for administrative reasons, but in
particular because we are forced to charge you for each shipment. Therefore,
in the mail informing you about the new expected delivery date,
we will also be asking you whether you are still interested in the order. If
we (you) are so unfortunate that we can not deliver an order or a partial order
within the normal delivery time, we will not confine ourselves to strict procedures,
but in a dialogue with you we will do our utmost to find a swift and acceptable
solution to your problem.
TERMS / CONDITIONS
All prices are in DKK and incl. 25% VAT.
All orders against cash payment unless otherwise
agreed. In case of overdue payment Rex-Cykler reserves the right to charge a
fee of DKK 50.00,
and an interest of 1.8% per month.
DELIVERY
All orders, with the exception of sold-out or back-ordered items, will be shipped
on the first weekday after your payment has been received
All sale terms and conditions of delivery, that are currently in force, will
apply respecting consumers rights under the consumer legislation.
Having received an order confirmation from Rex-Cykler, the customer is advised
to check whether the order confirmation is consistent with the order and, in
case of discrepancies, immediately report this to Rex-Cykler. Please note that
we do not ship as cash on delivery (COD).
Pick-up
You may pick up your order at our physical address during opening hours: 9:30
- 17:30 on weekdays and 10:00 -13:00 on Saturdays.
You may only pick up your goods when you have been notified by email or telephone
that they are ready for pick-up.
RETURNS
You always have the right of cancellation of 14 days when ordering online.
Please feel free to contact Rex--Cykler before returning an order so that we
may assist you with transportation if your address is within our neighborhood.
Please return your order in its original packaging to avoid damage during transportation.
The goods must be labeled with your order number. You pay the shipping costs
when returning an order.
We will refund the purchase price by transfer to your bank.
Once we have received the returned product in its original packaging and verified
that it meets the conditions for cancellation, we will contact you for information
about how and where you want the amount transferred.
COMPLAINTS / MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY
In order to make the procedure as smooth as possible, please first contact
our workshop on tel. 4879 4999 or email martin@rex-cykler.dk before filing a
complaint about a certain product.
You will then receive information that ensures the easiest and fastest handling
of your defective product.
On all products there is a minimum guarantee of 6 months and a 2 year period
for filing complaints. In cases where our homepage is offering a guarantee exceeding
2 years, it is a manufacturers warranty offered directly from the manufacturer
or from the manufacturers Danish distributor.
Should the product, against our expectations, fail during the first two years,
it will be repaired free of charge in our own workshop, or in that of the manufacturers,
unless the failure is due to any modification, wrong handling or use of the
product. If the quality or the quantity of the order does not correspond with
what has been agreed to, Rex-Cykler has a right to provide a new and/or a subsequent
delivery. The right to replacement or to a subsequent delivery is annulled if
the delay is a material problem for the customer and if Rex-Cykler must have
assumed this - see the Danish Sale of Goods Act § 74. Complaints must be
filed as soon as possible and within reasonable time after the customer has
or should have discovered the defect. It is possible to either deliver the product
at Rex-Cyklers physical address or to send it.
When returning goods for service, please deliver them safely packed and with
a copy of the invoice together with a complete description of the problem.
Rex-Cykler reserves the right to test returned products.
If it turns out that a returned product is not defect in any way, or if the
defect is not covered by any guarantee, it must be expected that the product
will be sent back with an additional charge for the cost of labour. The fee
for a preliminary examination of the product is DKK 155 (incl. VAT) per 1/2
hour or any expenses imposed on Rex-Cykler by the distributor or the manufacturer.
However, no repair at the expense of the customer will take place until the
customer has agreed.
Rex-Cykler can not be held responsible for consequential damages created by
products sold by Rex-Cykler. We also do not assume any responsibility that products
purchased from Rex-Cykler are compatible with products purchased elsewhere.
If you are not certain whether the desired product is compatible with a product
bought elsewhere, please consult the relevant manuals and/or the manufacturers
website. You are obviously also free to call Rex-Cykler on tel. 4879 4999 for
advice.
We only comply with the descriptions of products and their use as shown on our
website and in the manufacturers documentation.

Special conditions for TREK
------------------------------
All Trek bikes, as displayed on our website, are exclusively sold from our business
address.
Bicycles are a technical product requiring advice and guidance to the consumer
from a qualified dealer about handling and maintenance.
Bicycles must be assembled, adjusted and fine-tuned by a competent mechanic
before it is handed over to the consumer.
It is important to make clear that Treks warranty does not cover bikes delivered
by courier or carrier, and we also believe that the customer is running a high
risk by such delivery.
This agreement is a global Trek policy.

Buyer’s Remedies for Lack of Conformity
78.- (1) If the goods are not in conformity with the contract,
the buyer may
(i) require remedy of the lack of conformity;
(ii) require delivery of substitute goods that are in conformity with the contract;
(iii) require an appropriate reduction of the price; or
(iv) declare the contract avoided unless the lack of conformity is immaterial.
(2) The buyer may not require remedy of the lack of conformity or delivery
of substitute goods if the completion of the remedy is impossible or will cause
the seller disproportionate expense. Regard shall be had to the value of conforming
goods, the significance of the lack of conformity and whether an alternative
remedy can be completed without significant inconvenience to the buyer.
(3) If the seller offers to remedy the lack of conformity or to deliver substitute
goods, the buyer may not require an appropriate reduction of the price or declare
the contract avoided.
(4) The seller shall comply with any requirement or offer to remedy the lack
of conformity or deliver substitute goods within a reasonable time and without
expense and significant inconvenience to the buyer, see section 79 of this Act.
Failing this, the buyer may require an appropriate reduction of the price, declare
the contract avoided, require delivery of substitute goods or, provided this
can be done without disproportionate expense, cause the lack of conformity to
be remedied at the expense of the seller.
79. – (1) In determining whether the remedy of the lack
of conformity or delivery of substitute goods has been completed within a reasonable
time, see section 78(4) of this Act, regard shall be had to the nature of the
goods, the nature of the lack of conformity and the need of the buyer for the
goods, including whether the seller has placed substitute goods at the buyer’s
disposal at the seller’s expense.
(2) The buyer may withhold the payment of the price until a request or an offer
to remedy a lack of conformity or to deliver substitute goods has been complied
with. If the lack of conformity must be deemed immaterial, the buyer may not
withhold an amount that is clearly in excess of the cost of remedying the lack
of conformity.
